How to create and link pages, 2
Now let’s write something in the page “Page 1”...
...and let’s link back to the home page. To do it we select the text “home”...
...then we use “Insert >Link...”:
The software lists two available pages: if you click on any of them you can see an active preview (active means in fact you can navigate: this is very useful when you forget a page name!):
The “Document title” page is the page we want to link. So we click on OK and we will have:
Done? We are back to the home page.
You can continue this example by creating pages 2 and 3 and related links. This is the time to notice that with a double click on the text “Page 1” you can jump to page “Page 1”, without switching to a preview mode, or having to run a browser. This is really comfortable.
A lot of other ways are available to create new pages, and a lot of other options are available to setup
links. You can copy a page from another ebook, or from an external file, and much more.
